Shiju Thomas
Founder & CEO
Shiju leads Relay Hill Automotive’s efforts to build community across its markets and portfolio businesses while driving strategic growth and acquisitions. He is actively involved in both business and property-side M&A and remains engaged in day-to-day operations.
With a strong background in the automotive industry and ASE certifications, Shiju also represents the organization within professional and entrepreneurial networks nationwide. Over his career, he has advised or participated in more than 100 transactions totaling over $13 billion, including his most recent deals as an owner-operator.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banker at Lazard and JPMorgan, focusing on M&A and debt capital markets. He holds multiple advanced degrees in economics, finance, and energy studies, along with undergraduate degrees in Finance and History & Religion from the University of Texas at Austin.
Cody Leach
Senior Manager
Cody Leach is a District Manager with Relay Hill Auto and brings over 22 years of experience in the automotive industry. His journey began at age 12 in his uncle’s body shop and has since included roles in dealerships, body shops, custom motorcycle shops, and independent repair facilities.
Cody is passionate about helping teams grow, improving customer experiences, and maintaining the trusted, neighborhood-shop feel that customers value. He believes great auto repair is built on trust, clear communication, quality work, and strong relationships.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his fiancée, their three children, and their pets. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, Formula 1, golf, and exploring the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Thomas Christy
Senior Manager
Tom provides strategic and operational leadership for Relay Hill Automotive’s founding portfolio brand. With extensive experience in multi-unit operations, he has worked across industries including automotive, retail, finance, and construction.
Throughout his career, Tom has led company-owned and franchise operations in 63 countries and has also served as a management consultant, helping organizations improve performance and growth.
Tom graduated summa cum laude from Regis University with a degree in Business Administration and holds SHRM-SCP certification as a senior human resources professional.
Sam Mostacciuolo
District Manager
Sam Mostacciuolo is a District Manager with Relay Hill Automotive and brings more than 25 years of experience in the automotive repair industry. His background includes sales, training, operations, team development, and multi-store leadership.
Sam is passionate about helping teams grow, improving customer experiences, and building strong shop cultures through leadership, communication, and accountability. He is committed to supporting both employees and customers while helping locations achieve long-term success.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, reading, and working on cars.
